A suite of works exploring death, dying and living well

We’re currently developing a suite of three works exploring our society’s relationship to death, dying and living well. Our aim is to tour the UK with these in 2023. You can read more about each individual project below.

Dead Bird

Dead Bird is a performance piece for theatre spaces exploring time, language and our society’s distance from death and dying.

Conventionally everyday discourse around death is fraught with taboos, and hindered by fear – if it is spoken of at all. Yet to face our own mortality can be a powerful tool in supporting us in living life well, and in alignment with our values.

In 2017 we carried out ACE funded R&D on this project, you can read more about this here.

Instructions for Living

Instructions for Living will be an audio trail using geolocated audio.  It will help participants uncover what’s important & what they value.  We’re interested in helping people to find their own answers to how to live well, and ultimately create their own instructions for living.

The Guest Book

The Guest Book will be an interactive digital experience, offering participants the chance to engage from their own homes.
